Besparmak, known as Five Finger Mountain, is one of the most iconic natural landmarks in North Cyprus. Rising to 740 metres, its distinctive five-peaked silhouette dominates the Kyrenia skyline and has inspired local legends for centuries β€” most famously the tale of a Byzantine hero who grabbed a handful of rock to leap across the mountain range. The viewpoint at the summit offers breathtaking 360-degree views across both the northern coastline and the Mesaoria plain.

A well-maintained road leads to a car park near the summit, from which a short walk takes visitors to the viewing platform. The area is particularly beautiful at sunset when the peaks are bathed in golden light. A small cafΓ© operates seasonally near the car park. The mountain is also a popular starting point for sections of the Kyrenia mountain trail.
