Karpaz Gate Marina is the premier full-service marina in North Cyprus and one of the most modern yachting facilities in the Eastern Mediterranean. Situated on the southern shore of the Karpaz Peninsula near the town of Yeniboğaziçi (Yeni İskele), this purpose-built marina opened in 2011 as a flagship development designed to international Blue Flag standards. It serves as both a destination marina and a strategic stopover point for yachts cruising between Türkiye, Cyprus, and the Levantine coast.
The marina was developed as a joint venture with a vision to establish North Cyprus as a serious yachting destination. Built at a cost of approximately $50 million, the facility offers 300 fully-serviced berths capable of accommodating vessels up to 55 metres in length, with a 300-tonne travel lift for haul-out and maintenance. The marina village surrounding the harbour was designed in a contemporary Mediterranean architectural style, with low-rise residential apartments, retail units, and waterfront dining creating an attractive resort atmosphere.
Facilities at Karpaz Gate Marina include a fuel station, 24-hour security, high-speed WiFi, water and electricity hookups at every berth, laundry services, and a well-equipped chandlery.
