Dipkarpaz (Rizokarpaso) is the principal village at the far eastern end of the Karpaz Peninsula, serving as the gateway to the national park area and the remote beaches beyond. The village is notable for its mixed community, with a small Greek-speaking community living alongside Turkish Cypriots — one of the few remaining examples of cohabitation in North Cyprus.
